Built to order. One at a time, by hand in Anna Bay, NSW. Around a six week wait from the day you order.
The Mako is our flagship fillet knife, named after the shark for a reason. Fast, aggressive, and built to tear through fish with control. Stiffer than a traditional fillet knife but more precise than a boning knife, it sits in the sweet spot for bigger, tougher species.
The blade is raindrop Damascus san mai, a hard cutting core wrapped in corrosion-resistant outer layers. The raindrop pattern runs the full length of the blade and no two are ever the same, built to take saltwater without the rust of traditional Damascus.
The handle is genuine abalone shell set in clear resin, hand-sanded and buffed to a glass finish. The colour shifts in the light, greens, blues and purples, while the resin keeps the shell protected for real use.
