This is an incredible knife. It is beautiful and balanced. Most importantly it is a beefy knife that can slice and breakdown an animal. It is balanced and heavy enough to chop through bone or wood. Very impressed with the craftsmanship. It is also crafted uniquely and custom.

Knives are one of my many failings in life. Whilst I collect them, functionality is important to me. The large Japanese style boning knife is a sight for sore eyes and yet extremely practical since I'ma home cook. I couldn't be happier.

Nice shape and style with good functional design but on this version of it I don't really like the coating on the blade , it feels like mill scale and looks similar. It's not that as it's meant to be a feature but I think it makes it look dirty or unfinished as it catches on your fingernails. It will wear of in time.
