Every blade that leaves our workshop in Anna Bay is built to be used hard — gutting fish, breaking down game, prepping dinner, or just being the knife you reach for every single day. We expect our knives to get scratched, stained, and worn. That's the point.

But we also expect them to last. So here's the deal: if your Iron Gate knife ever needs sharpening, maintenance, or repair — send it back to us. We'll sort it out. Free. For life.

Get In Touch

Email us at workshop@irongateknives.com with your name and what needs doing. We'll send you a shipping label and instructions.

Send It In

Post your knife to our workshop in Anna Bay. Wrap it properly — we don't want Australia Post losing a finger.

Get It Back, Sharp As Day One

We'll clean it, sharpen it, fix what needs fixing, and send it back. A few days turnaround, not weeks.

Straight Answers
Do I need proof of purchase?

No. If it's an Iron Gate knife, it's covered. Whether you bought it yourself, got it as a gift, or won it in a bet — it's one of ours and we'll look after it.
What about damage from misuse?

Knives are tools. They get dropped, they hit bone, they pry things they probably shouldn't pry. We'll do our best to bring it back to life. If it's beyond repair, we'll have a chat about what we can do.
Does this replace basic knife care?
+
We'll always sharpen your knife, but you should still look after it between services. A bit of mineral oil and a strop goes a long way. We sell both if you need them.
What about the kydex sheath?

If your outdoor knife came with a Kydex sheath and it's got issues, get in touch and we'll sort it out.
Is there a limit on how many times I can send it back?

No limit. Send it every year if you want. That's why it's called a lifetime guarantee.

We're a small workshop. We know every knife that goes out the door because we made it with our hands. If one comes back needing work, that's not a problem — that's proof it's being used the way it should be.

We'd rather sharpen a thousand knives than sell one that ends up in a drawer.
