Every Iron Gate knife is built to last a lifetime and we stand by that.
What’s Covered:
- If your knife ever fails due to how it was built (materials, heat treatment, assembly, or workmanship), we’ll repair or replace it free of charge.
- Kydex sheaths are covered against defects and failure to hold the knife
What’s Not Covered:
We back our work for life, but we don’t cover misuse. That includes:
- Damage from prying, batoning, throwing, or using the knife as a screwdriver/hammer.
- Lack of basic care (e.g. leaving carbon steel un-oiled in salt water).
- Putting one of our knives through a dishwasher.
- Chipping from using the knife on something harder than the knife is designed for.
- Normal wear such as sharpening marks, scratches, or natural patina.
