We're opening a limited pre-order for our Abalone Shell Flexy Fillet Knives and building this batch specifically for February dispatch. Price has been reduced by 20% for being a pre-order.

These knives are designed for clean, effortless filleting — light in hand, flexible through the blade, and finished with the kind of detail that sets them apart. The abalone shell handle brings depth, colour, and natural movement, making every knife unique while still being tough enough for real fishing use.

This is not an off-the-shelf item. Once pre-orders close, we move straight into production and build these knives as a dedicated run in the workshop.

The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel, chosen for its corrosion resistance, fine edge holding, and ease of maintenance around saltwater. At 295mm overall length and a 180mm cutting edge, it offers the right balance of reach and control for everyday fishing.

Keeping Your Edge

A quick strop before each use keeps your blade at its best. For a full sharpen, use a whetstone at the factory angle or send it back to us for free resharpening under the Iron Gate Lifetime Guarantee.

General Care

Wipe the blade dry after use. Apply mineral oil or handle wax to the handle every few months. Store in the included Kydex sheath.
