Made To Order - Estimated Shipping March
Stabilised Figured Tasmanian Blackwood · Abalone Inlay

This Elmax Hunter sits at the top end of our range — a proper premium build for those who want the best materials we work with. We’re opening this as a limited pre-order for March so we can take the time to do these knives justice.

The blade is crafted from Elmax stainless steel, one of the highest-performing steels used in modern knifemaking. Known for its exceptional edge retention, corrosion resistance, and fine grain structure, Elmax holds a razor edge for a long time while still being tough enough for real-world hunting and outdoor use. It’s a steel we reserve for our more serious builds.

Each knife is forged and finished by hand in Australia, built as a hard-use all-rounder that’s equally at home in the bush, on a hunt, or around camp. Balance, control, and long-term reliability are prioritised in every step.

The handle is made from stabilised figured Tasmanian Blackwood, finished with an abalone inlay for a subtle touch of contrast and detail. Stabilising the timber enhances durability while locking in the natural figure and colour of the wood.

Because these knives are handmade using natural materials, no two will ever be the same:

  • Wood grain and colour will vary
  • Abalone pattern and tone will vary
  • Each handle will have its own unique character

That variation is what makes each knife a true one-off.

Size

  • Overall length: approx. 240mm
  • Cutting edge: approx. 120mm

Why This Is a Pre-Order

Our Hunter has become one of our most in-demand knives. On Thursday night drops, they’ve repeatedly sold out within minutes, and we’ve received alot of messages from legends frustrated at how hard it’s been to secure one.

The fast sell-outs were never the plan. These knives take serious time to build by hand, and we underestimated just how popular the Hunter would become.

To make it easier and fairer we’ve opened pre-orders on a small number of proven handle combinations, like this one.
