This Hunter is built from dark stonewashed Sleipner steel, chosen for its toughness, edge retention, and long-term reliability in hard-use conditions.
The handle is a hand-built combination of Golden Amboyna Burl, genuine abalone (paua) inlay, and deer antler, giving each knife a unique look while maintaining the same proven balance and ergonomics our Hunters are known for.
Our Hunter has become one of our most in-demand knives. On Thursday night drops, they’ve repeatedly sold out within minutes, and we’ve received alot of messages from legends frustrated at how hard it’s been to secure one.
The fast sell-outs were never the plan. These knives take serious time to build by hand, and we underestimated just how popular the Hunter would become.
To make it easier and fairer we’ve opened pre-orders on a small number of proven handle combinations, like this one.
Each knife is made completely by hand, one at a time, in our Anna Bay workshop. Because of this, no two handles will ever be exactly the same grain patterns, antler texture, and inlay placement will vary slightly from piece to piece.
That variation isn’t a flaw.
It’s the mark of a truly handmade knife.
