70-layer stainless Damascus steel, ground thin with medium flex — built specifically for filleting fish. The 160mm cutting edge rides the bone cleanly and gives you full control whether you're on the boat or back at the cleaning table. It's sharp, it stays sharp, and the Damascus pattern across the blade is something else entirely.

The handle is real abalone shell set in clear resin. Waterproof, tough as nails, and every single one looks different. Blues, greens, purples — whatever the shell gives us, that's what you get. No two are the same.

Comes with a custom-fit Kydex sheath and free engraving — your name, a date, whatever you want etched into the steel.

Keeping Your Edge

A quick strop before each use keeps your blade at its best. For a full sharpen, use a whetstone at the factory angle or send it back to us for free resharpening under the Iron Gate Lifetime Guarantee.

General Care

Wipe the blade dry after use. Apply mineral oil or handle wax to the handle every few months. Store in the included Kydex sheath.
