The XL Hunter is our biggest field blade, built for the jobs that punish a knife. Big game, heavy camp work, and the cuts where length and weight do the work for you.
The blade is Böhler N690 with a stonewashed finish, our workhorse steel. It holds a working edge through a full day in the field and sharpens up quick.
The handle runs stabilised African blackwood into natural deer antler at the back, with a double G10 and brass spacer stack between them. Near-black timber with a fine tight grain, clean lines of brass through the middle, and raw antler to finish it.
A note on antler
Deer antler is a natural material. Every handle is its own shape, colour and texture, so yours will not be identical to the photos. That is the point.
