The Wide Hunter is a compact, controlled hunting knife with a shorter, wider blade. A deep belly and full control in close, built for precise field work where you want the knife to do exactly what you ask.
The blade is Böhler N690 with a stonewashed finish, our workhorse steel. It holds a working edge through a full day in the field and sharpens up quick.
The handle runs Australian ringed gidgee into natural deer antler with a yellow dyed birch inlay between them. Dark ringed native timber up front, raw antler at the back, and a bright line of yellow through the middle.
A note on antler
Deer antler is a natural material. Every handle is its own shape, colour and texture, so yours will not be identical to the photos. That is the point.
