New to the drop. These are the first tomahawks we have put in a Thursday drop.
The Tomahawk is a camp axe: a bearded head on a slim, shaped handle, made for kindling, clearing and the chopping jobs around camp that a knife should not be doing.
The head is Nitro V with a clean, smooth finish. The edge sweeps down into a hooked beard, which leaves room to choke up behind the head for finer work. Nitro V is a tough stainless steel: it resists rust and sharpens up quick.
The handle runs stabilised green dyed birch under the head into stabilised curly mango at the butt, with brass and black spacers either side of a black and brass TruStone band, and a brass-lined lanyard hole at the end. Deep green curl up top, a bright band of brass and stone through the middle, and golden curly mango to finish it.

Iron Gate Knife & Handle Wax — feeds the timber so the handle will not dry out or crack, and leaves a moisture barrier on the steel. Wipe on, buff off, every few months or after any wet trip.
