New to the drop. These are the first tomahawks we have put in a Thursday drop.
The Tomahawk is a camp axe: a bearded head on a slim, shaped handle, made for kindling, clearing and the chopping jobs around camp that a knife should not be doing.
The head is Nitro V with a textured finish across the flats and the Iron Gate mark on the cheek. The edge sweeps down into a hooked beard, which leaves room to choke up behind the head for finer work. Nitro V is a tough stainless steel: it resists rust and sharpens up quick.
The handle runs stabilised curly mango under the head into natural deer antler through the grip, with a black G10 spacer where they meet and a brass-lined lanyard hole at the butt. Rolling curl up top, one clean black line, and long pale antler with its natural texture down to the butt.
A note on antler
Deer antler is a natural material. Every handle is its own shape, colour and texture, so yours will not be identical to the photos. That is the point.

Iron Gate Knife & Handle Wax — feeds the timber and antler so the handle will not dry out or crack, and leaves a moisture barrier on the steel. Wipe on, buff off, every few months or after any wet trip.
