A bowie profile with a recurve edge. The belly sweeps in before the tip, so the edge pulls into the cut on a draw and keeps biting through the long slicing strokes a bowie is built for.
The blade is Böhler N690 with a stonewashed finish, our workhorse steel. It holds a working edge through a full day in the field and sharpens up quick.
The handle runs African blackwood into natural deer antler, with ivory G10 and brass spacers between them. Near-black timber up front, raw antler at the back, and a clean break of ivory and brass through the middle.
