The Mini Skinner is the evolution of our Ergo Skinner and Mini Hunter. We wanted something highly ergonomic, but with enough cutting edge to process large deer and game.
It's a small knife with a proper job to do. Short, curved belly, fine point, built for skinning and caping where control matters more than size. Light on the belt, easy in the hand, and built to last a lifetime. It can be a versatile EDC knife, a field knife, or a glorified box opener.
This is the N690 version, our house stainless, satin finished. It holds a working edge through a full animal, doesn't mind blood and rain, and sharpens straight back up. The most affordable way into the Mini Skinner.
The handle runs Australian ringed gidgee into natural deer antler with a TruStone spacer between them. Dark ringed native timber up front, raw antler at the back, and a hard band of stone through the middle.
A note on antler
Deer antler is a natural material. Every handle is its own shape, colour and texture, so yours will not be identical to the photos. That is the point.
