The Mini Kukri is the kukri shape in a smaller build. The blade bends forward into a deep belly that carries its weight out front for camp work, with the traditional notch cut at the heel.
The blade is a stainless damascus san mai, an N690 stainless core clad both sides with stainless damascus and etched to raise a bold, high-contrast wave, so it takes a fine edge, holds it, and shrugs off rust the way plain carbon never will. A rough, textured band runs along the spine, with thumb notches cut in just ahead of the handle, and no two blades come out the same.
The handle runs stabilised cocobolo into natural deer antler at the back, with a black and brass TruStone band framed by black and brass spacers, set with brass pins. The textured tang runs out past the antler at the butt, finished with a triangular lanyard hole. Rich red rosewood figure up front, a band of black and brass, and raw antler to finish it.
A note on antler
Deer antler is a natural material. Every handle is its own shape, colour and texture, so yours will not be identical to the photos. That is the point.
