For the bloke who has everything.

He's got a drawer full of blunt ones. Give him the one he'll actually reach for, with his name on it.

“This will be a treasured tool and something I will proudly hand down to my son one day.”

Gift questions

Straight answers.

Will it arrive in time?

Pieces marked made to order are built for your order and take about 3 to 4 weeks. Pieces marked in stock ship straight away. Every listing tells you which it is before you buy.

If you're up against a date and it's tight, a gift voucher is the safe bet.

How does the engraving work?

Add your words on the product page before you check out: a name, a date or a short line. It's free on every piece.

Chopping boards carry the Iron Gate mark rather than a custom engraving.

How do gift vouchers work?

Choose an amount from $100 to $2,000. The voucher is sent by email straight away and can be spent on anything in the store.

Is the guarantee covered for them?

Yes. No proof of purchase is needed, so whoever owns it is covered. Free resharpening and repairs for life; they just cover the postage to us.

Is it actually made in Australia?

Yes. Iron Gate is Australian made by a small team of makers in Anna Bay, NSW. You're welcome to come and see for yourself: the showroom at 4236 Nelson Bay Road is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
