2. Promotion period. Opens 12:00am AEDT Saturday 31 October 2026 and closes 11:59pm AEDT Friday 4 December 2026.
3. Eligibility. Open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoter, its contractors and prize partners, and their immediate families, are not eligible. The prize includes knives, so entrants and the companion must be 18 or over and identity is verified before any knife is supplied.
4. How to enter. (a) Submit your email address and Australian mobile number through the entry form at irongateknives.com/pages/giveaway during the promotion period for one (1) entry; one free entry per person. (b) Every AUD $50 (inc GST, excluding shipping, after discounts) spent in a single order on irongateknives.com during the promotion period earns one (1) further entry, recorded automatically against the email address on the order and rounded down to the nearest $50. Orders cancelled or refunded before the draw forfeit their entries. Custom order deposits do not earn entries.
5. Prize. One (1) prize, awarded to one winner and shared with one companion of the winner's choosing aged 18 or over: a liveaboard spearfishing charter in Tropical North Queensland for two, to be taken in winter 2027 (June to August) on dates agreed with the operator; a guided hunt for two, to be taken in April 2027 on dates agreed with the outfitter; two complete Iron Gate knife sets (each: Mini Skinner, 3-piece Kitchen Set, Mako Fillet, Paracord Utility Knife, XL Hunter) with chopping board, magnetic knife rack, three leather knife cases and a Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener; Calvert apparel to the value of $1,000; Dog & Gun Coffee to the value of $500; and partner gear as announced on this page. Itemised values and the total prize value are published on this page as at the date of lodgement. Built to order items are made after the draw, allow 3 to 4 weeks. Travel to Cairns and to the hunt location, and any accommodation outside the charter and the hunt, is not included and is the winner's responsibility. The Promoter will film the trips and the winner and companion agree to appear in that content.
6. Draw. A random computerised draw from all valid entries at 11:00am AEDT Monday 7 December 2026 at the Promoter's premises, Anna Bay NSW. The first valid entry drawn wins.
7. Notification and publication. The winner is notified by email and phone within two business days and the winner's name and suburb are published at irongateknives.com/pages/giveaway for at least 28 days and in the Promoter's newsletter.
8. Unclaimed prize. If the prize is not claimed by 8 March 2027, an unclaimed prize draw is held at 11:00am AEDT Tuesday 9 March 2027 at the same place and the result published within 7 days.
9. Prize conditions. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Travel is subject to availability, the operators' own terms, safety rules and weather. The winner and companion are responsible for travel insurance, licences, medical fitness to dive and hunt, and any cost not listed in clause 5. If any element becomes unavailable the Promoter will substitute an element of equal or greater value, subject to permit conditions. Trips must be taken by 30 September 2027 unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Content and publicity. The winner and companion agree to the Promoter filming and photographing the trips and to the Promoter and its prize partners using their names, likeness and the content for marketing without further payment.
11. Privacy. Entrant details are collected for the purposes of the promotion and the Promoter's marketing, held under the Promoter's privacy policy at irongateknives.com/policies/privacy-policy. Entrants may opt out of marketing at any time.
12. General. The Promoter's decision is final. The Promoter is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected entries or technical failures. The Promoter may cancel or vary the promotion subject to regulator approval. Nothing in these terms limits rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Governed by the laws of New South Wales.
