The Mako is our flagship fillet knife. Faster and stiffer than a soft fillet blade, it doubles as a boning knife and powers through serious fish work.
The blade is Sandvik 12C27, a fine-grained steel that holds a razor edge and stands up to a life around saltwater. Stiff enough to drive through, fine enough to follow the bone.
The handle is stabilised York gum burl with a TruStone spacer, brass detailing and a natural abalone accent. Every handle carries its own grain and colour.
