The Notch was designed as a true pocket companion — small, sharp, and easy to live with. It’s made for the constant little jobs: opening boxes, trimming cord, cutting bait, quick fixes around camp or the shed. Nothing flashy. Just a knife that works.

The blade is made from tough N690 stainless steel and finished with a stonewash that wears in, not out. Its compact size gives you plenty of control, and the flowing blade shape makes it feel natural and precise in use.

The stabilised Afzelia Xylay handle brings warmth and depth, with rich grain that catches the light and ages beautifully over time. 

At 155mm overall with a 75mm cutting edge, the Notch is easy to carry without ever feeling under-gunned.

Every Notch is finished by hand in our Anna Bay workshop, comes with free personalised engraving, and is supplied with a custom-fit kydex sheath at no extra cost. Like all Iron Gate knives, it’s backed for life.
