Forged from Disturbed GoMai steel by Baker’s Forge USA, this Mini Hunter is a showpiece of craftsmanship and performance. GoMai (meaning “five layers” in Japanese) is a rare forge-welded steel made by stacking carbon and stainless layers around a high-carbon core, producing incredible edge retention, strength, and corrosion resistance. The “Disturbed” pattern takes it further — chaotic carbon layering and copper fusion that reveal stunning texture and contrast once etched.
The blade has been etched super dark, giving it a deep, almost black finish that highlights the swirling copper and steel layers beneath — a true handmade statement piece.
The handle is crafted from Copper Carbon Fiber composite, combining lightweight strength with the metallic warmth of copper strands running through the weave. Hand-shaped and polished for balance and control, it’s as comfortable in the hand as it is striking to the eye.
