The Hunter is our proven all-round field blade. Skinning, dressing, and camp work, the jobs you actually do on a hunt. Balanced, strong, and built to be relied on.

The blade is Böhler Elmax with a dark stonewashed finish, the finest steel in our lineup. It holds a razor edge longer than anything else we run and shrugs off corrosion, so you can work it hard without babying the blade.

The handle pairs stabilised acacia with a TruStone spacer and copper accents. Golden figured grain with a warm metallic break through the middle. Each one is shaped by hand, so no two are alike.

Keeping Your Edge

A quick strop before each use keeps your blade at its best. For a full sharpen, use a whetstone at the factory angle or send it back to us for free resharpening under the Iron Gate Lifetime Guarantee.

General Care

Wipe the blade dry after use. Apply mineral oil or handle wax to the handle every few months. Store in the included Kydex sheath.
