The Talon is an everyday carry built around a wharncliffe-style point that hooks over like the claw it is named after. The edge runs straight and flat to a fine tip, so every cut lands exactly where you put it. It is the ultimate box opener and rope cutter.
The blade is Böhler Elmax, the finest steel in our lineup. It takes an incredible edge and stays razor sharp, so you are cutting rather than sawing long after a lesser steel has given up.
It works as a hunting knife too, and that semi-flat edge makes it genuinely useful for simple camp kitchen work — cutting up fruit, veggies and meat.
The handle is stabilised curly mango. The curl rolls through the timber so the figure shifts as it turns in the light, and the stabilising locks it in place so it will not move, swell or crack.
