⚠️ THIS IS A PRE-ORDER
Current build time: 6+ weeks. Each knife is built to order, one at a time, by hand in Anna Bay, NSW. Your knife enters our queue the day you order.
Our most popular saltwater knife. Damascus steel, abalone handle.
This is the knife that sells out fastest — the MAKO fillet in raindrop Damascus san mai. Same proven profile as our standard MAKO, but with a blade that performs and looks like nothing else in the water.
Raindrop Damascus san mai stainless steel gives you the best of both worlds — a hard, high-carbon cutting core wrapped in corrosion-resistant stainless outer layers. The raindrop pattern runs the full length of the blade, and because every blade is hand-forged, no two patterns are ever the same. It won't rust like regular Damascus — this is built for saltwater.
The handle is genuine abalone shell set in clear resin, hand-sanded and buffed to a glass finish. The depth and colour in these handles shifts in the light — greens, blues, purples — while the resin keeps the shell fully protected for real-world use.
Medium-hard stiffness lets you ride bones cleanly, cut through pin bones and tough scales, and fillet with confidence. This is a working knife that happens to be a collector's piece.
