A rough, textured band runs along the spine, with thumb notches cut in just ahead of the handle, and the Iron Gate mark on this one is filled red.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe handle opens with a short section of stabilised spalted maple and gives most of the grip to natural deer antler, with a black and brass TruStone band framed by black and brass spacers, set with brass pins. The textured tang runs out past the antler at the butt, finished with a triangular lanyard hole.
